Regarding Microsoft

Although I'm hardly using any Microsoft software anymore, I still admit they got some great things, like their .Net framework and the corresponding IDE, VS.Net (don't hate me now).
This could be some great proof of concept/research technology too.

On the other hand: what did they smoke?

Honestly, there's nothing there that hasn't been done before...

One word: Eiffel

AFAIK Eiffel is used to test new algorithms, not to test "real world" applications written in a "real world" language like C#. I don't know any "real" application (non-experimental/educational) that's written in Eiffel, if I remember correctly.

And Ruben, I know you dislike .Net and what's around it, maybe you should join RedHat? ;-)

I think C# is one of the nicest languages around (I'm not a complete .Net hater), just don't give them too much credit for things that are around for over 20 years.

RedHat can always contact me though ;-)
